The Resonance is the most powerful force that spans the multiverse. It cradles the known realm, maintaining its delicate equilibrium. Among the living, there exist individuals who are not only able to perceive the flows of this mystical energy but are also capable of harnessing it, bestowing upon themselves extraordinary abilities. Yet, the flows of the Resonance have been diminishing, and with them, the number of those able to wield it. For the first time in the recorded history, there are parts of the world completely devoid of the flows of the Resonance. This abrupt decline in the Resonance’s presence, has lead to devastating changes, most prominently the climate. Weather has became dangerous and unpredictable, while the once rare sightings of monstrous creatures drawn to the currents of the Resonance have grown disturbingly common. Some fear we stand witness to the death of our known world.
